Reading List
UPDATED: 01/18/10
Below is a list of books that I read when my brain is locked up and I cannot think of anyway to express myself artistically.
1. Annie Leibovitz At Work (ISBN# 978-0-375-50510-2)
An amazing book. Not really any technical information, but more on her thought process and what she thinks while shooting, as well as the stories behind famous images.
2. Nashville Portraits: Legends of Country Music (ISBN# 978-1-59921-168-8)
While I am not a big country music fan, this book was a wonder to me. All the images are in studio, but photographer Jim McGuire captures the soul of these artist.
3. Successful Self-Promotion for Photographers (ISBN# 0-8174-5926-x)
Again, no real technical information, but plenty to seed your brain in regards to getting your work out there. Elyse Weissberg has a deep knowledge of promotion, and this book is well worth the read.
There are more, but I will add them later as I pick them back up.
